Ryan Seacrest has worn the same cologne for two decades
The TV and radio personality is known for wearing sharply tailored suits and crisp white shirts while chatting with celebs on the red carpet. While Ryan rarely varies his onscreen uniform, he has now shared that he is also a creature of habit when it comes to fragrance and has been using Yves De Sistelle’s Thallium for Men for many years. “Now this is a little bit random. It was given to me as a gift by a friend, I would say almost 20 years ago. I said to him, ‘Where did you get this?’ And he said, ‘The drugstore.’ So I don’t think it’s a very fancy item, but it is a cologne that I just found worked,” the 44-year-old recalled in a chat with New York Magazine's The Strategist. “It wasn’t too strong, but it was one that when I put it on, people actually asked me what it is. You know, at some point, you can’t smell it yourself, but I got more questions about it, and so I kept using it, and when I use it, people say that it smells good, so I stuck with it. But it’s been an old favorite for a long time.” Among the other products Ryan keeps his bathroom cabinet stocked with include Victory Barber & Brand Super-Dry Hair Paste and skincare products from the Polished by Dr. Lancer range, which he partnered on with the dermatologist back in 2017. The presenter is especially a fan of the Dual Cleanse and Shave formula, which takes just a few minutes to use in the morning. “You get to use the cleanser and the shave at the same time, and I think, for a man, anything that simplifies a regimen in the morning, especially when you’re talking about shaving and washing your face, makes it easier and simplifies it, it’s always a plus. You lather up, just like you do your shaving cream, and then it serves as a cleanser, as well,” he insisted.
